Schedule Rules

-Each run of the schedule is like a pay problem except the pay is separated into all of its components. Report and clear, total swing, paid swing, travel time, vehicle time, half time and/or boost and spread.

-Each column shows total of all above categories

-Report and clear + travel time + vehicle time = work time

-If work time over 8 hours half time in half time column

-If spread over 11 hours half time in halftime column (add to 8 hr ht)

-If work time + paid swing under 8 hours boost in boost column

-Count trips and enter in trip column. Separate for all parts of run

     -All pull out and pull in are counted as trips

     -Any dead heads are counted as trips

     -Reliefs are not counted as trips

-There are 2 columns for swing. One is the Total swing, the other Paid swing

-If you add the information from the following columns

Travel + Vehicle + (Report + Clear) + (Halftime or boost) + Paid swing = 

Total Pay

       You get total pay of run
