Friday, June 02, 2017
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 44% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-six percent (56%) disapprove.
The latest figures include 28% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 47% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19. (see trends).
The president earned a monthly job approval rating of 45% in May, down two points from the month before.
We’ll tell you at 10:30 this morning what voters think of Trump’s decision to pull the United States out of the Paris anti-global warming agreement signed by President Obama in 2015 but never submitted to the U.S. Senate for an up-or-down vote.
While voters have long said global warming is a serious problem, most also have been reluctant to spend any of their own money to do anything about it.
In the wake of the shakeup at the Fox News channel, the long-time cable news leader has lost fans and fallen behind CNN.
===============================
Trump's most ardent supporters are slowly abandoning him -- or at least not supporting him as enthusiastically. According to Rasmussen, which tilts conservative and tries to put a positive spin on Trump, the number of "likely voters*" who strongly approve of Trump has gone from 45% to only 30% since the inauguration.
