Assault

On Saturday February 26, 2010 there were two assaults on M60. 

One bus operator got physically assaulted when he reached the end of the line when a customer did not want to alight. The other incident the bus operator got spat on at Lenox Avenue. These two incidents happened within a span of less than 10 hours.

Management’s view is this a set up job, that those operators brought the accomplices so they can get on the Injured On Duty (IOD) - getting paid while they are not working. We here in why did you join the union abhor that view, and believe in our fellow co workers without any reservation.

It is incomprehensible that John Samuelsen would leave his membership not standing by their side during their time of need but rather he would fly first class to Madison, Wisconsin. We can hear his TBOU lackeys excuse ‘no one informed us’ - well John Samuelsen’s responsibility is towards the TWU Local 100 membership not Madison, Winsconsin - however we in the buses will protect our own, we will take care of our own.
