Articles found by employees or turned over to employees by passengers must be turned in at location with lost property bag at crew. Articles must be entered in lost property book and sent to lost property - 34th Street and 8th Avenue subway.
If a claim is made by someone with proper identification, property can be returned. Name, address, phone number and signature are required as well as name and pass number of employee returning lost property.
Employees must not divulge contents or description of articles.
Articles of great value must be sent to lost property ASAP.
Do not contact owner of lost property.
