The typical reaction of President Trump's Federal Hiring Freeze was part of the campaign promise that the electoral mandate agreed on. The issue had sparked a debate before Trump put it into law. The unions are still not amenable to the government's action plan for this aspect.

Trump's Federal Hiring Freeze is not friendly to government civilian employees and the nation in general, as mentioned in an article in Power Post Federal Insider. Federal labor leaders argued that this act means more spending on taxpayers' money. Agencies will tend to hire more private contractors that are more expensive that government employees, as reacted by the President of American Federation of Government Employees. He further stated a list of negative consequences by this law.

But the US Government has justifiable reason in implementing this law. Besides being rallied in the presidential campaign order "Contract with the American Voter", this law will be instrumental in weeding out corruption and eliminate the Bureaucratic red tape within Washington D.C. The elimination of corruption will make America great again.

It is vague when the enactment of Trump's Federal Hiring Freeze stay in effect. The state hired 221,000 government employees in the year 2015. The recruitment includes men in uniform, but only one-third are military veterans.

Virginia state representative, Gerry Connoly- Trump's Federal Hiring Freeze, said that his country would suffer the consequences of Trump's Federal Hiring Freeze. It has the most number of federal workers employed. He further stated that government should hire more federal employees to man certain jobs like cyber security. Past Federal hiring freeze orders cost more in the long run, as reported in Yahoo News.

People and Public Officials opposed to Trump's Federal hiring freeze expressed their dismay adding that this mandate veers away from former President John F. Kennedy to activate civilians to give service to their country, as stated in CNN Politics.
