If the clearing time of your previous day work is within eight (8) hours of the start time of the test - you are excused with pay from the previous day of work.

Example - run clears 2:01 A.M. and the test begins at 10:00 A.M.

Injury on duty - compensation IV


No other allowances can be paid while on compensation (holiday/vacation).

We say when a member of TWU Local 100 is on compensation, they should be paid allowances and bonuses.

Injury on duty - compensation III


On reoccurrence of a previous injury there is no IOD pay - you will go right onto compensation. Rate of pay reverts to rate at original date of injury.

First nine days on compensation is differential pay. On the tenth day you are entitled to compensation (8 hour per day). You will be paid compensation and the balance of differential pay to bring total to 8 hours. 

We say it should be run pay.

First day of injury you will be carried IOD and paid run pay for balance of tour. Each day after it is compensation - compensation is paid 8 hours (not run pay).

We say the compensation should be run pay not 8 hours.
