Reporting late during snow storm

If you report late ‘because of an unusual interruption of service on the New York City Transit System and your run has been sent out before your arrival at the reporting location and you are assigned other work then the contract states that workers ‘shall be allowed at least his/her regular rate of pay....shall be treated in all respects as though he/she had reported on time.’

Example: if your run pays (11) eleven hours and your run has been sent out and now you are given a substitute run that pays (8) eight hours then that is a loss of (3) hours. Please check the UTS specifically your biweekly pay screen that you are paid your (11) eleven hours and not (8) hours.

How to get the correct pay:
  1. inform the general SLD of the error - if it is not corrected within 15 minutes
  2. fill the G2 form (to and from memorandum) directed to location head asking for correct pay
