Views on Friedrichs v. California Teachers Association (CTA)

I am a union supporter.  Will any non-union people please explain to me how you think it is just for non-union people to get benefits they don't pay dues or bargain for?

I'd be glad to explain why this teacher doesn't feel she has been represented by her Union.

First she feels that being in a union and paying thousands of dollars to a bloated union that obviously doesn't have her best interest in mind, because people don't go into teaching for the money, and since teachers have been represented by the teachers union for what 30 years, she feels that all the money that should have went towards improving her job actually went to an overpaid union boss and a democratic campaign donation.

Which brings me to the biggest and probably in her mind most important reason she doesn't want to be apart of the union anymore is that Unions aren't good at their jobs. There are to many examples now days that show that the scare tactics that led people to join unions a long time ago just aren't true today. To many examples of hard working people that are seen as important to the company they work for a do get the raises and benefits that go along with hard work and dedication. Maybe she's tired of out working people and watching all the lazy teachers get the same raises that she gets.

Ruff this change has been coming for a long time and its finally here.
